Our story
Sapphire City Explorers is a Brighton-based guided tours company dedicated to sharing the city’s rich history, vibrant culture and seaside charm. Our guides are local residents and trained storytellers who combine research, archival detail and personal connection to bring Brighton’s past and present to life. From the Regency splendour of the Royal Pavilion to the colourful lanes of independent shops and cafés, our tours are crafted for curious visitors, groups and residents who want to rediscover the city. We pride ourselves on small group sizes, responsible tourism, and tailored private tours that suit families, schools and corporate groups. We operate all year, adapting routes for weather and accessibility, and partner with local businesses to highlight Brighton’s best independent makers, eateries and cultural venues.
Our routes through Brighton are planned for curious travellers who want context as well as landmarks. Each experience balances well-known highlights with quieter streets, local stories and time for questions.
Sapphire City Explorers works with knowledgeable local hosts who keep groups comfortable, explain practical meeting details clearly and adapt their delivery to the pace and interests of the guests.
Every booking begins with transparent information about duration, accessibility, inclusions and price. Private itineraries can be adjusted by agreement before the tour, helping visitors make the most of their time in Brighton.
